If you’re looking for more than brewery day trips for your pup this winter, you’ve come to the right place. I’ve pulled together all the dog-friendly hotels and resorts in New England that not only allow your dog to visit but actively encourage their good times.

With dog-friendly beach access October to March, this Watch Hill beachfront hotel is where the fanciest fidos go this winter. Their pet package includes in-room breakfast credit, dog beds & toys, meals from the Pooch menu and all-access to the hotel’s grounds and beaches. There is a 50lb weight limit for dog guests.

Set on 150 acres of private mountaintop in St. Johnsbury, Dog Mountain is 150 acres on a private mountaintop that is always open to dogs to roam and play. Snowshoe alongside your pup in the winter or explore hiking trails year round. There is a Dog Chapel dedicated to dogs as well.

A large resort near Stratton Mountain, Equinox Resort offers a dog-friendly package that includes a waived pet fee, dog bed & bowls, and dog-walking for an additional fee.

Like many New England spots, Ogunquit Beach allows dogs in the winter, so get yourself to dog-friendly Admiral’s Inn.

Though they’re not welcome in the dining rooms and spa, your dog is free to roam most of Winvian Farm’s 100 acres in the Litchfield Hills. There are five dog-friendly cottages at Winvian, each with an individual personality and style.
